SIPeers (finished)

SIPeers is a project from the Pompeu Fabra University and is engaged by five students from the final year of the Telecommunication Engineering degree.

SIPeers consists on no-infrastructure low-cost communication services. Using the benefits of Value-Added VoIP services, SIPeers allow to communicate everytime and everywhere through a self-organized network while reducing customer costs. It’s time to forget about been charged per minute or call, now it’s time to communicate as much as you wish being ‘always connected’.

tkPholog (finished)

This is a software project. The goals of that software is to provide a free (GPL) code to build fotolog websites. It's written in PHP and uses MySQL backend for data storage.

The main features are:

• image resize at server
• multiple users
• RSS for last picture
• it's free!

As my coding skills were quite poor when I started to code the tkpholog, I was thinking about a new version some months ago. Now I'm starting the development of Djaflog, the (r)evolution of tkpholog. It's Django-based, so a lot of changes are coming. Stay tunned :)

tkManager

This software has been built to ease the management of the projects forge at my home server. It consists on a set of modules: one BASH script, a set of PHP files and some Apache config files.

The idea behind it is that with only one shell command we can add another project to our forge. Each project of the server has is own Trac copy to host the project. That shell command also setup the virtual host in the Apache server and the SVN code repository.

Canet Sense Fils (discontinued)

Canet Sense Fils means Canet Wireless, and Canet is my town, so you can imagine what is this project about ;-)

The group is formed by students mainly but not only. We try to provide our village with a local wireless LAN open to everybody.
